I was especially struck by the mention of those who make theology and God a weapon. Too often I fall into this sin. Lord have mercy. Imagine my surprise and joy to discover in the final line that these were the words of the Patriarch of Constantinople! I am very moved and some of my hope is restored. I have always believed that any degree of unity was several centuries away. With others of this beautiful spirit, perhaps we wont have to wait so long.
